An annual event bringing together Caldwell County's traditional high school theater programs and community theater groups. The event includes workshops, scholarship auditions, and an open-to-the-public one act festival.
Annually, Caldwell DramaFest organizers will raise money for one or more scholarships for local juniors and seniors involved in theater. The scholarship(s) will be distributed based on artistic merit as determined by a panel of judges.
One goal of Caldwell DramaFest is to be a bridge between the schools and the local community theater organizations. DramaFest is a way to get everyone in a room together having fun and performing great theatre. DramaFest is also a way to reward theatre students for participation by giving them the opportunity to receive feedback from professional judges on their overall production.
